I decided to start blogging too...I don't know how interesting this will be, but if anything, it will be therapeutic for me to write about my mommy days...And to keep friends and family updated on Emma's fascinating activities. She's a busy girl these days, between preschool, ballet class, and dressing up as a princess, she barely has time to take a nap...
Speaking of naps, when do kids stop taking naps? I am SO not ready for her to stop. She's 3 now, and has been sleeping great (I just jinxed myself)...10-12hrs / night, and 2-3 hr naps...Yes, I know, other moms hate me, but I'm so used to my break in the afternoons, I NEED it! And recently, once in a while she'll skip a nap, which feaks me out!! Anyways, let's not go there...She's sleeping right now, so I might as well enjoy it!

Awesome!!!
I am now the first commenter on your blog too.
I love it Soph. Very impressed.
Keep on bloggin' girlfriend!
Nap time is a mental saver I'd have to admit. At one point I changed the name to "down time" since Julia wouldn't really sleep. I think this started when she was about 3 as well. She would just stay in her room relaxing. Warning... relaxing also entailed playing w/ creams to make the floor slippery for ice skating or to style her hair. Therefore... down time lasted about an hour and a half, clean up... another hour! Chloe is currently "taking a nap" however, I hear the music box playing as I write!!! Answer to your concern about naps: as with most answers to children's issues... it varies from child to child!!!!!! YIKES! Don't you hate that??????!!!!!!!!********!!!!!!! Julia is standing next to me and says, "Hello. I really miss you and want to know when you are going to come to France. When I'm home in Houston, I want to see you and Emma! Maybe Emma and I can paint together." We miss you guys and hope to see you very soon!
